M. David Cole, M.D., F.A.A.D., discusses Cosmetic & Plastic Surgery

M. David Cole, MD, F.A.A.D, is locally ranked as one of the top injectors of Botox, as well as dermal fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane. He also regularly performs procedures such as laser skin treatments, chemical peels, and sclerotherapy for leg spider veins. He currently practices at a dermatology and laser institute located in Newport Beach, California. Prior to this he practiced at a five-star dermatologist which provided medical care and cosmetic Botox.

Dr. Cole, MD is a well-known expert in minimally invasive cosmetic dermatology.  His extensive procedural knowledge and his attention to aesthetic detail make him the go-to provider for hundreds of patients in Orange County, California. He practices at Horizon Dermatology and Laser Institute in Newport Beach.

A University of California alumnus himself, Dr. Cole was an Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at University of California Irvine School of Medicine for many years. He taught medical students and dermatology residents alike; he also taught hundreds of physicians in  facial cosmetic procedures and aesthetic dermatology.

Although Dr. Cole’s areas of interest span the full spectrum of medical, surgical, and cosmetic work, he has always been particularly interested in minimally invasive surgery. He co-authored a study, Primary nerve grafting: A study of revascularization, which was published in the Journal of Microsurgery in 2003. Dr. Cole is interested in the use of rely on smaller incisions and smaller instruments not only to ease pain for patients, but to more successfully meet their aesthetic needs.

M. David Cole, MD presented a study, therapeutic modalities for patients with melanoma of the ear, at the 52nd Annual Meeting of the California Society of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Cole worked with plastic and aesthetic surgeon Gregory R.D. Evans, MD, FACS and general surgeon James G. Jakowatz, M.D. on the study, which was published in the Journal of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
